Salt Lake Stories Now Available for Download
Salt Lake Stories is four short games about the history of Salt Lake City, Utah. Select one of four historic downtown locations where you'll meet real figures from Salt Lake history. You'll play a short game at each of these places, each with its own genre and format.
This project was originally designed for an exhibition at the Salt Lake City Public Library, where it was on display in November 2021. This version has been lightly redesigned for its itch.io release, including a new hard mode for two of the games.
The historical figures featured are newspaper editor Shiro Iida, librarian Joanna H. Sprague, mining magnate Samuel Newhouse, and Mormon pioneer Robert R. Anderson.
I hope you enjoy this trip to Salt Lake City's past.
